Thoughts on my SEO plan of attack please!

Keyword: duck and cover clothes

allinchor: duck and covers clothes = 80,000 results.

I can commit about 12 hours work a month to this, just want to see how doable a 1st page is in say...about 6 months.

The plan is to blog, blog and blog somemore basically. I have hired some fashion students to create some articles for me, I should be getting around three articles a month. These will go on the website and shared on facebook (800 followers) and other relevant sites.

I also want to build some links using content I don't see fit for the site, maybe posting some articles to ezines etc, stuff I can whip up myself for links.

Do we think this is doable? I'd hate to pour time in to this for no reason.

This, by the way is a uni project...we are asked to choose a company and work for them and I chose to do SEO as I thought it would help me learn more about it. I want to be able to tell the client I can provide x page in x time basically.
