Multiple sites for a business

Featured Replies

I was asked by a client if having multiple sites for his business will improve google searchability.

The client wants to have something similar:

business-london.com

business-westminster.com

business-kensington.com etc. and have all those sites crosslinking between each other.

How does it work with google, because I saw similar things before - sites with the same design but slightly different copy?

I understand that in this case there should be a separate hosting package for each of those sites, multiple domains option probably wouldn't work since all those sites' IP will be the same (again, does google look at site's ip?)

Any help is much appreciated

Hi,

If you put up different websites for one client, you should talk him into creating different brands with different customers targeted as well.In regarding the promotion aspect as you said ip is same then might be its a problem, i am not sure because i have seen some websites running on same performa, whereas you can run multiple websites, changing brands and content might works!
