Was just reviewing my stats and thought someone on here would find them useful. Questions about what browsers and resolutions to cater for tend to pop up quite a bit so maybe this will help. Something to bear in mind though is that your own site stats are always the best way to judge who you should be designing for. These stats are for a retail based comparison site.

All this pretty much confirms what many of you will already know. And thats that theres a mixed bag of visitors out there you need to consider. IE is still a dominant force and IE6 is hanging on in there. Interesting to see how chrome is advancing its market share.

 

Also, I'm getting nearly 40% of traffic from various country's around the world; 15% being the US.

It's interesting to see IE9 beta at 2.38% when it hasn't got beyond beta yet. I tried IE8 when it was in beta and found it terrible, but the final version cleared up all the problems I had so I wonder if IE9 beta has problems?

I personally don't bother with IE9 while it's in beta.
