Just wondered if anyone here is using www.billfor.it for their invoicing and quotes? I was sent an invite yesterday and have signed up, but before I get too deep I'd thought I'd see how other people are getting on with it? I'm doing mine with Excel at the mo which does the job, but think it's about time I move into something a little more organised! lol

I've been using it for just over 2 months now, as I had access to the beta. I'm really happy with it and have seen features being added pretty much every week when coming through the launch stage. For a free service, I thinks it's pretty spot on.

I'm the owner of www.billfor.it and have noticed a lot of hits from this post, so decided to come on over to look at what was being said.

 

Firstly it's great JamesDesign and Dino Media that you are using the system, as well as the other signups we've received from here.

looks nice but one or two things that i needed to do i could not find

 

1. i fafed up the password lol so how do i cannge my password, i think there sould be a link where you can do this as changing your password is part of security.

 

there is not a 2 because i found it lol

 

any how i think this is grate will tell my buisnes paterner.

 

is there a way to link accounts so he has one and so do i or do we you the samme account?

I've just sign up. Must say what a great site. I own a printing business and this is very good for me. Many thanks for sharing this website.

Well spotted on being able to change your password once logged in. We covered this for users before logging in (in case they have forgotten their password) but not once logged in. We will add this ASAP into the settings section.

 

In terms of linking multiple users to one account, this isn't yet possible. It is something we have down for future improvements, as we can see it will help with larger companies/departments. In the mean time, you can continue by sharing the same login for the account as you say.

We have just added the ability to change your password to the site - under My Account > Settings you will see a new option in the menu.

 

Now you've had a couple of days on the site, have you noticed anything else? Or, anything in particular you would like to see on the site?

Right, over the last week I have moved over all my clients details and have to say I am mightily impressed at how smoothly it all has gone. So far I have issued 2 invoices, so just a case of waiting for them to be paid to see what happens next.

 

Can't believe I hadn't moved to something like this before - goodbye Excel! lol
