Another site finished this week - Past Present

Featured Replies

Hi there

I've just finished another website...this one isn't going online until February, but instead in the meantime is touring round local venues in Dunfermline on a PC not connected to the internet. It's taken several months to complete - the nature of working on something involving an exhibition / artists / art organisations and it's been quite an organic process and the site has changed and developed over time. It's getting a bit of a launch next Wednesday and I've got to do a bit of public speaking - totally dreading that part.

So I'm going through the site with a fine tooth comb trying to find errors, bugs and spelling mistakes. Would love your opinions and also if you could tell me if you spot anything wrong.

Past Present

Thanks

Nice site :) I'd say the only thing that needs changing are the links at the bottom. They're a little hard to read... maybe just a bit lighter ;)

I agree - fair point - will do.

Cheers.E.

Oh, one more thing. The separators in between the links should be the same color as the links. Cheers.

Absolutely love it Evie! You should be proud with this one! :)

It gives that warm welcoming feel and sparks up nostalgia. The design really does taylor to what your client is all about. Well done :)

My only reservation (and it's a small one) - is on the mini gallery viewer the font is very hard to read "Please roll your cursor...etc" - that's all really, i'm having to squint a little..im running a 1280 x 1024 res. Maybe it's just my crap eye-sight.

Conclusion is - It's gorgeous! I can see alot of hard work has gone into this! :)

Great stuff!

I see what you mean - exporting it as a jpeg hasn't helped either - made it a bit fuzzy - I'll make the text bigger. I just had a meeting with the client and got a few changes to make before the launch on Wednesday this week so will add that to my list.

It's such a relief to get it all done and dusted.

Not my style, but it is nice. Kind of a vintage feel, like something selling antiques. Nice though!
