I put a site live today - it has very little content on it but still, it's there. The client wanted to get it live for today as it's his birthday and so he's having a bit of a luanch and he doesn't mind that it's not got much on it as that's his fault for not getting anything together...

 

Anyway - here it is:

 

The Circle Line

 

I'm still loooking over it with a fine tooth comb for errors and I've found one that I have no idea how to fix. If you view the site in Netscape or Mozilla, there's a blue line that runs along the logo and posters on the homepage - I've got no idea how to get rid of it...it's bugging me.

 

There are bound to be other things I've missed too as it's been a hellish week of none stop work on this site and other projects.

 

I've still to add titles / metatags etc...

 

What do you think?

It looks pretty cool and I think this is the first time I've been to a site designed to scroll sideways. I didn't see anything weird, I am using FF2 by the way if that means anything.

I think it looks great, a website that goes sideways, very unique! I like it. I didn't see a blue line, if its there I didn't see it. I'm using FireFox2 too.

The blue line only appears in Mozilla and Netscape.

Thanks - that's nice to know - I've got a 19" monitor set to 1280x1024 and it looks good on that - what size screen have you got?

 

I also tried it on an 800x600 and it doesn't look too bad on that - you have to scroll more though.

15.4" on my laptop. 1280x800. (I use this one for surfing... i.e. the one I used)

21" on my desktop. 1024x768. (Gaming, testing, etc.)

Ive got an 800*600 monitor using IE and it looks fine to me. How long are you away from completing it?

It was always meant to go live with only the music section having content as the other parts of his business haven't really started up yet. So I've just got to finish the music section off and will be doing that next week.

 

After that it's up to the client to get busy.
