Use @font-face as that now works in all IE versions, Fr=irefox, Opera, Safari and Chrome. No need to use complicated Cufon or sIFR.

nothing complicated about it really and it's only recently that Firefox has allowed it.

I'm curious to hear more about IE9. Is it a viable option yet?

try it lol I'm running the beta on my laptop now to have a play. Speeds up the browsing on there as well. Only issue I have seen is cufon.

will try what she's trying to do .... on her virtual machine.... later.

She says the Favorites bar has gone but you can just right click on the bar as you can now and select the ones you want.

One thing I couldn't find last night was back/forward button history access :( UPDATE - right-click the button :)

not sure what her problem was, I could drag a tab and pin it no problem. Then again I'm not trying to get hits to my website lol

Definitely looking much better than previous IEs. Once I get a legit copy of Windows, I'll install it on my Mac and have a go. Looking forward to it :).

Still not sure I will use it, now that I found out Firefox does similar things with addons like prism :)

Nice I hadn't seen that one before. Best tool for web dev in firefox is definatley Firebug, discovery of that plugin changed my world of web development.

Has anyone noticed any differences regarding page rendering (excluding CSS3/HTML5)? Inputs are always fun to watch jump about in different IE versions.

I'm just hoping IE9 isn't yet another job for designers - they've already got an extra 3.
