Larrington Trailers - New Agricultural Website - Please Review

Featured Replies

I have just launched this new agricultural trailer website (http://www.larringtontrailers.com) and wanted to ask what you all think of it.

It was built for Larrington Trailers, an agricultural machine and trailer manufacturer based in Boston.

Any feedback about the website or ideas about how it can be improved would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Was the site created using Joomla or Wordpress?

I like the site, only thing i would say is the slider/scroller on the bottom of the home page totally messes my eyes up, maybe make a little slower or try a different slider?

Other than that i like it

It looks very nice but i agree on the slider, its good but way to fast, a little bit slower would be much better.

I could be wrong guys, but doesnt the slider speed depend on where your mouse is? I must admit initial speed did seem to fast.

My main issue with your home-page is the images. You have used image for information content. For example, the paragraph which talks about Patented Technology is an image, yet is probably one of your major selling points. Get that into text, and the search engines will pick it up. As it stands, google will just see it as an image.

I notice that it's a Joomla site, and Joomla has taken and written all your meta tags. You need to sort out you site title, description and keyword tags, and descide what keywords you are going to target. Without getting your keywords right you simply wont get any visitors. There are Joomla plugins which can help with sorting the tags, and you need to do some research before dedciding on your keywords. You'll need to do a little re-jigging of your text to make sure those keywords appear correctl also.

The site is really easy to navigate with a nice menu. It passes copyscape, which is also a good thing.

Hope this help, if I can help further just drop me a pm.

I agree and I will be slowing it down as soon as I have some time to do so. Thanks for pointing it out.

I will look into this. This is a space for a graphical ad that I want to update/replace often. Perhaps an article about the patented technology is a good idea...

I had actually done this already, but something obv went wrong. Thanks for pointing it out. It has now been fixed.

Thanks all of you for your help. Keep the suggestions coming :-)
