August 31, 201016 yr I'm pretty sure it shouldn't do this, have you got a link? (I note in you post above that the '#' is separated from the 'h1' - maybe this is the problem?

August 31, 201016 yr Looking at your post, you have a space between the "#" and "header." If this is the same in your css code then theirs your problem.
