August 17, 201016 yr Hey again, I seem to have another little problem. I've created a div in CSS called info that has a grey background. In my <div id="info"> I have the date of a post, and it's on one line. when I add, <div align="right"> for the comment link, it puts it at the right, but on a separate line. How can I fix this? <div id="info"><font size="1">Posted on <?php echo $date; ?><div align="right">Comment</div></font></div>
August 17, 201016 yr DIV's are block level elements, try using <span> instead or set the 'Display' style of the DIV (in your CSS) to 'inline'
August 18, 201016 yr Author Changing the font size in the CSS for the Div Info, still doesn't make a difference. Removing the <div id="info">, and the <font size="1"> still doesn't make a difference.
August 18, 201016 yr You wanna keep the first block div. Something like this. <div id="info">Posted on <?php echo $date; ?><span>Comment</span></div> #info{ float:left; font-size:13px; width:200px; } #info span{ float: right; }
August 18, 201016 yr Author You wanna keep the first block div. Something like this. <div id="info">Posted on <?php echo $date; ?><span>Comment</span></div> #info{ float:left; font-size:13px; width:200px; } #info span{ float: right; } I had to change the width to 100% and add the background-color. It worked perfect, thanks ;D.
