I'm looking to build my 'folio by doing some work for small local businesses and I'm thinking that I'll be able to extend my offering if I pair up with a graphic designer.

 

Anyone got any tips from their experience? How do you work the relationship? Any good resources to connect with graphic designers online?

Could you talk through the process you go through when working remotely with a coder that needs some creative whiz? What do you need from them in terms of a spec etc? Sorry to ask what are probably such basic questions but we're all new once I suppose!

Go canvass local companies. Offer them a free or discounted audit or something.
