CSS link code

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Wondered if anyone can help on this......?

I am wanting to apply differnt link decortain, colours and fonts etc to different parts of a page - ie make URL links different colours withinj different div tags.

I am aware of the code example as below:

a:link {color: #333333} /* unvisited link */

a:visited {color: #333333; border: 0px;} /* visited link */

a:hover {color: #000033; font-size-adjust:2px;} /* mouse over link */

a:active {color: #333333} /* selected link */

Any advice on how to apply the above to different div tags on the same page would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance of any help offered.

Bruce

You can use the DIV's ID or classname to control them, eg

If you have an "intro" DIV...

<div id="intro">
<a href="#">Some linky</a>
</div>

You can override the default link styling like this...

#intro a:link {color: #0000FF;}
