First Logo draft

Featured Replies

Hay guys first draft, tell me what you think. I am probably not going with this now as I am starting to think the dark background isn't for me. perhaps light and crisp like slightly on cartridge paper with a creamy hue and use sepia tones for the tree (leonardo-esque)<= is this a word? You decide! Then that would go against the night tree idea? The typography is definitely being changed and 'Designs' is being switched with 'Development'.

Please, please, please some good honest constructive criticism!

Cheers.

Morning,

I think I like the idea. However there is far too much detail in my opinion.

Logos work better as simple icons. The difficulty is designing something original.

Take a look on http://www.logopond.com for some inspiration.

Good luck ;)

I disagree with Lewwy, I like the details, but i dont like purple.

Try to make the words solid instead of just lines.

It look good overall. Nice tree.

I would say to much detail aswel, logos are ment to be simple. I would say make the tree a lighter colour and more solid. Less branches ? You could put a horizontal line under between the tree and type. Maybe with the type you could show it more solid, add some roots as serif? To relate it to the tree ?
