July 25, 201016 yr Hello I'm working on http://www.unisonmanchester.org/wordpress/ As you can see the content on the left hand side is too low, I don't like the whitespace above. How can I move the div up t be aligned with the logo? I've been searching through the css and can't find the right bit. Thank you Ellie
July 25, 201016 yr at a quick look the left hand side is #content and contained within #wrapper which is set below the #header div that contains the logo. Not sure why you'd want to move it up though? Looks like the attached to me.
July 25, 201016 yr Author Hello Thanks for your reply. I played with the css and really wasn't sure how to change the nesting. If it's possible to get the ehadline 'The truth about local government pensions' in line with the word Unison?
July 26, 201016 yr I've just woken up and not looking at code but probably by moving the header into the wrapper and giving it a different z-index and then play around with some top padding on the columns.
July 26, 201016 yr You could try to reduce any padding on the top, and place the padding on the bottom, if not, then try what zed said, give it a different Z-Index
July 27, 201016 yr Author Hello again Thanks for the response. I decided in the end to use the space for some branding. So I have mostly left it as it is. I am just working on the layout and have widened it all by 50px. It seems ok aside from the fact that I cannot trace a tiny graphic or border which is sitting between the content and right sidebar. I thought it was a graphic and now I'm not sure. If anyone can see it, please let me know. This website is mostly a blog so I have worked with this template to mod it for easy readability and usability. Hence the fixed width. Does this seem ok? I am a little rusty. Thank you
