Hello there,

 

I have installed Active Perl and Stawberry (do they both do same thing? should I remove one?) and I am at a loss as to how to use them to check a perl script.

 

I just want to find out what lines to look for errors on. Also should I place perl script in a special location it is currently in a folder in my documents.

you can use the -c switch to check a files syntax

 

perl -c myscript.cgi
