I've currently just finished my first year at University studying Web and Multimedia. Over the summer I am looking to gain some freelance work and experience at the same time. I've done some freelance in the past but only for people I know and obviously the amount of work you can do for people you know is limited..

 

So really I'm just wondering how somebody would go about starting up? Where should I look for work etc?

I've just finished uni myself. I started my own business with a friend. I figured its better than waiting around for someone to offer us a chance.

 

If you take on freelance work, make sure you get contracts signed and don't undervalue yourself.
