Horizontal Scrolling

Featured Replies

I know most of you get annoyed by it, but I'm about to do a website for a photographer and looking for inspiration. Most of these sites use horizontal scrolling to display their portfolio.

So just wanted to know what you think of this kind of thing.

first site - best navigation. (third site - photos are super)

In my opinion horizontal scroller is absolutely fine :pp

It's sooo much better than this flash websites that take ages to load;/

but if I were you I wouldn't go for any other backgrounds than grey or black.. <_<

Photography portfolios are shown on monochromatic colors for a reason.

I think horizontal scrollers are ok but if it was me I'd have an auto scrolling box that activates on hover, save people going down to the scrollbar and doing it themselves.
