June 3, 201016 yr Kurrimine Beach Holiday Park kurriminebeachholidaypark.com.au -Visual Appeal bit cluttered, no real headings, 3 logos: first is hard to read, second is blurred, third is poorly antialiased, images all different sizes and resized in the html verdana is nicer than arial for web, and you don't need 2 spaces after a period (. ) anymore, only for fixed width fonts needs more line-height. that blue is just not nice! map should be a gif and it isn't very well laid out -Web Content bullet point some selling points first and have a definite call to action available, then expand on those points -USP what's that then? unique selling point?? put it in your list of selling points at the top -Facilities don't know. layout out your site in some structure with headings and i can then easily find it and tell you -Offers call or book to find out? how about you tell us, prominent place top right or left -URL bit long, not sure i could remember it -SEO no headings, some missing alt attributes (logos etc) -Navigation fine -Color Scheme the blue on light cyan doesn't work, try off-black on a light aquamarine, or a pale sand colour -Customer Interaction Thank you!
June 3, 201016 yr Hi, I think you need to sit down and put some serious thought into the structure of the site - what features you want on the front page, where you want them, which ones you want to highlight and how... etc. etc. Get a piece of paper and a pencil - that always works for me. At the moment, there's no real hierarchy and everything on the front page seems to have the same importance, which I am sure is not your intention. Also, less is (usually) best in any kind of design. A good rule of thumb to follow is to get rid of at least half of your text, then get rid of half of that. People are impatient on the internet - they won't sit down and read through a load of information to find what they're looking for. They want it NOW! Instead of "Main", make that link say "Home" - people are more used to that. Might also be worth seeing if you can get some quality photography done, just to add a bit of punch to the site! Keep going though mate, it's not a disaster and I'm sure you can improve on it. Oh and cyan?? Reminds me of my days playing with the old bbc computers and programming with basic! ;D
