New site - please review

Hello,

This is a personal site for a famous horn player in Venezuela. I tried it to be simple and easy to navigate. It's almost ready, except for the Blog and some English translations.

All critiques are welcomed

Site:

ww w.joelarias.com

Cheers,

Eduardo

looks cool.

One thing that doesn't translate too well is the section 'Critics'. You could use 'Critiques' but even better would be 'Reviews'.

from the English 'more links' it drops to a Spanish page/menu

this may be correct but from the English page, you select Blog and get a Spanish page.

Thank you very much,

I'll correct the mistakes.

For the Blog, I don't know what to do. The client doesn't write very well in English, so, he is not willing to maintain a Spanish/English Blog. But, at the same time, the rest of the site is bilingual...

Maybe I should put on the link something like BLOG (Only Spanish) to warn people that the Blog is not in English...

What do you think?

Cheers,

Eduardo

yeah, maybe remove 'Blog' from the top menu and where it is listed in the Links and footer sections put Spanish only after it.

Why no to remove 'Blog' from the English version?

I thought about that possibility, but some people speak English and a understand little written Spanish, so if I hide the Blog link on the English version they would probably never know there is actually a Blog on the site (unless they check the Spanish version).

I think I'll ask the client about this issue and that's it.

Cheers,

Eduardo
