What am i missing?

Featured Replies

Hi I have an issue with www.soulcellar.com when viewed in IE8. If you view the site in FF you can see how it should be. I have attached below a pic of the problem;

The spacing on the main content is all off like there is a top margin to all the bits of content which is causing it to nearly run off the page.

What am i not doing?

I think the problem's with the header css for the php, as it is only on that index.php page...

Nope didn't work. Thanks though, anyone else?

Worked here ?

I see you've changed the #nav instead :)

your spacing try removing from #contentindex {margin-top:10px; }

The emulator didn't fix it and i've gpne back to the image maps as i was having trouble with doing the nav properly so dont worry i will be going back nd doing some things again on this site...

Ok taking away the 10px from the content div worked a treat for the intro bit so thanks for that mteam. As for the spacing on that php bit of all thr shows have u got any good examples of using css comments?

Actually taking away the 10px didn't work as it put FF out. So back to square one :(

did you remove from #comtentindex as this has no effect in ff as #intro is giving it the top margin

Yeah it worked as far as not affecting the FF view but then taking that 10px away affected the footer div that is floating underneeth it, so to compansate for that i had to elongate the content div so the footer was in the correct place but then doing that put it out in ie and so on.

Can you try this

remove the margin-top:10px from #intro instead of #contentindex

and then adding a height:96px to #eventlist .event

This seems to work in IE7,IE8 & FF

Your right...how the hell did you work that out and you are a beginner!? But yeah its solved it.

Thanks so much.
