Hello folks!

 

Hope your all good! I'm a bit of a newbie to web design. Currently I am revising for my CIW Foundations exam after completing a course with Skillstrain. Whether this will get me anywhere who knows! I reckon building a decent portfolio and generally experimenting with software will be better, learning from experience. So at the mo as well as revision get to grips with and eventually creating stuff with Illustrator, photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver etc. But was suggested this site by a tutor so thought I would sign up!

Best of luck with the exam, I studied the same course but once whilst getting into a company I never sat the exams, like you stated a good portfolio will put you in with a better chance.
