I like it alot sono. That B&W backdrop of the super human Buffon sets it off really well and i'm sure your visitors will love it very much! V nice job. BTW how do you get the image to stretch the entire width?

Size matters. ;)

The images you are looking at are huuuge and are actually even larger than you can see here. For monitors over 1680px width like mine, the image will fade into the background with gradients.

So sad the Buffon image is taken with Gli Azzurri though. Not sure I should use it as we are a Juventus fan site. But i love it. :)

Its great :) So gd that you cannot not compare it with the old one ;) its more than 5 lvl higher than the old design xDxD The only doubts I have are the loading times ... the background will need its time oO

That's I concern I share with you. But is 485kb really that much for today's internett connections? That's the size of the background at the moment. If it is, and I'll run some test, maybe it could be possible to write I script to measure the connection speed and just serve it to those with a fast one?

Anyhow, CSS and the image will be cached, so is it really that tough? I'm not an expert on this. :)

Thank you very much for the kind words. I appreciate it.

try it and u will see ;)

Sono Juventino, 500kB are a huge load for connection even in 2010.

But is a background, and the site is working fine without: so don't worry, even if my connection takes 1 minute to download it, I can use the website anyway.

Great layout. ;)
