April 14, 201016 yr Hi All, It's definitely been a while since I last posted here, that's probably because I haven't had much to contribute but now I do. Here it is, I was given some good advice about just having my "About" content on the homepage as I was talking about it in another topic. This would help me get rid of the "About" links in the navigation at the top and bottom footer. Please let me know what you all think. Should I have an image on the homepage? April 15, 201016 yr Its quite clean - the footer nav items are a little confused as they are sitting on the green bar like that. I don't know if you're concerned about search engine visibility or not, but you haven't got much text on there - & the majority text that is there isn't relevant to what you apparently do.

Hi Crafty, Thanks for commenting my post, I see what you mean about the footer nav and I'll re-do that. I haven't got much text there because I was in a rush to get some feedback on the layout concept so far, don't worry I do intend on adding more text there to make my site more SEO compliant (is that right). April 21, 201016 yr Both are good, but I think I might like the first one better. Its more to the point because you have less to look at. In the modified version, the way the j sits on the line and the other letters don't bugs me a little, and at the bottom how the copyright is so close to the side, and on the right side the links are far away...Maybe if there was equal padding on the left and right or all four sides it'd be cleaner. Also, the image is more yellow than the teal of the page, so maybe you should see if making it match more would help.
