Amending website content

Featured Replies

First of all I apologize if this is a really stupid question but I am still very much a novice in the world of web design.

I am designing a website for someone who will want to modify certain content such as pricing & testimonials, etc himself as & when.

Am I correct in saying the way to approach this is to have a seperate admin login area to the website allowing the required fields to be amended by the user & storing the information in either a .txt file or a mysql database?

Thx.

Lee.

I suggest you look at a CMS (Content Management System) solution for your client. Take a look at how Wordpress works, to see if that is the kind of thing you're looking for.
