I have a Client who wants a website for their business which is selling mobile homes. They require a page where they can add new homes, just a few lines of text and a picture...nothing complicated there. However, they are not very computer literate and I think that within a few week, their 'new homes' page will look a total mess with a standard CMS.

 

My question, does anyone know of a CMS that will format their text and images (auto-resize) through some sort of simple user-interface; the sort of thing you'd use if you had an online store or other PHP/SQL driven site?

 

Personally, I'd rather they used a PHP/SQL based site but as always, they don't want to pay the price for it.

 

Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

Expression Engine can be configured to resize images on upload automatically. Costs £150 though.

Wordpress has an automatic resize function as well although that is probably true for most CMS. Advantage of WP though is that its a very clean back-end admin. You just have to teach your client to use same image resize
