February 13, 201016 yr Hi I am trying to making a joomla Quick start install Template Package what I done so far is... 1.Exported the template datebase.sql 2.I add joomla installation pacakge to my own joomla package 3.I replaced the installation/mySQL/sample_data.sql with my own sample_data.sql 4.Test set I up load files to the server 5.In the joomla setup when I click on the joomla button "install sample data" button I get this error message Error: the XML response that was returned from server is invalid I been told this is because note that sample_data.sql does not contain the entire database. The queries to create the tables and to populate it with basic information are in joomla.sql. This means that in order to create a new sample_data.sql file you have to remove some of your queries. This is all very new to me. So I was wondering could I use phpMyAdmin to export queries from my own sample data.sql and then import them into a new joomla.sql file so they would match? Many Thanks for your help and Kind Regards Charles
February 13, 201016 yr Do you mean the query results? If so you can export the results as a csv file. If you mean the query .... copy and paste? Or am I completely missing the mark?

The only two things he could mean I reckon. To the OP: Could you elaborate on your problem? Try and use screenshots if you can't express what you mean with words lol.

February 14, 201016 yr OK, PHPmyadmin is a tool that helps you maintain a MySQL database. You have used it to create database's/tables by importing a .sql file. This file contains mysql commands that create/load tables into your MySQL database. The concept of exporting .sql files via phpmyadmin is not correct. You can either download the .sql files from folders on your website via FTP or the required files will be in a folder in the unzipped download files. If I have misunderstood what you are trying to achieve I apologise.
