Just been given the opportunity to do some SEO work on a group of offshore websites.

Mainly consisting of French, German, Dutch and Italian websites.

 

I've never really had the experience in doing this and I don't speak these languages at all.

I am just wondering what's the best way to go about doing this, are there any specific tricks to making it work, or am i just best off learning to speak these languages and link build with the respective relevant websites.

 

What help, hints, tips and tricks can you offer me?

Can you consult, and not have to re-write text? If so you can help with link building strategies, layout and how to treat keywords and well written content, which should help the client understand SEO.

 

Maybe if you can get across your points to the people without having to do any re-writing you will avoid any potential problems we have with the sites from abroad written in mixed up English that can sometimes rank highly.
