Lytebox

Featured Replies

Hey guys

I'm fairly new to web design with, I know little about coding and use dreamweaver in split view to try and help me along the way so please be gentle.

I am creating a site and I have/want the contact page and about us page working on lytebox, it works with dreamweaver but as soon as i upload it and click my contact or about us link, it opens up just the html at the very bottom of the page, no buttons or anything.

Has anyone come across this or know how to get it working?

dan

I assume it is this Lytebox?

Usual problems are not uploading all the files e.g. js and image files or not linking to the files properly.

Any chance you could give us a link to your site, so we can decode?

I've not set up an index page yet so here is a direct link to the page

I also want to close the lytebox and go back to the parent page when i click the submit button in contact us and the home button in about us

Thanks

I can see the js file, but not the css file

Not Found

The requested URL /css/lytebox.css was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've just checked on the server and it's in there under the css folder i.e. css/lytebox.css and js/lytebox.js

I just understood your message and I have now got it working.

It turns out i had created a CSS folder and lytebox was calling css, i forget it case sensitive.

Thank you very much for your help..

Do you happen to know how i can get the buttons working to close lytebox?

If you look in the "How to use" section, there is a configuration section.

Looking at the config settings, I don't think you can close lytebox in the way you want?

I might just have to get over that one then and settle for the normal close button.

Did you notice anything strange with the submit button, it only highlights when you on the right of the button, someone wrote the script for me on here and i've only just noticed it, any ideas why that's doing it?

I'm seeing different things with Firefox 3 and IE8 (see attached)

1st file is IE, 2nd file is FF
