Anyway, I have a site that's getting about 18,000 page views a month, which works out at about 3,000 unique visitors. I've been contacted by someone asking how much it would cost them to advertise on it, and I don't know where to start with pricing.

 

I think I'd like to charge by page view than by click. I'd be interested to know your thoughts and experiences with site advertisements, and also if there are any middle man type of sites where I can go and be put in contact with potential advertisers?

If it helps, there's those websites which aim to automatically valuate your website and include figures for advertising worth as well.

There's another company called BuySellAds I think it is that people often go on about on here, but I'm not sure if they decide the advertising price on your website or if you do?
