Any Ideas For This Design

I actually think it looks quite nice, if you find it boring yourself why not try using some more bright vibrant colours to shake it up a little?

One thing I would say is you could possible do something in the way of a logo, at the moment the plain text just looks boring.

I also agree, that you need a logo, perhaps at the top-left corner and try to avoid using blue and white colours in logo or I think it will be a bit gloomy...

I would get rid of the space above the navigation or at least reduce it to something like 5px. Unless you place a logo up there it's not doing too much and removing it would bring the three 'SEO/desin/hosting' part further up and more in to view on average resolution screens.

Not too keen on the transparency of the navigation either; think the background makes it looks a little murky and blends in. Maybe try a defined top/bottom border and have the same border on the top of the lower grey section to give a sense of separation.

The active background colour for the home link doesn't look quite right. Maybe use the same background as the navigation bar but lower the opactiy by 50% or increase it by 50%. Could give it an inner bevel or something to make it look embedded.
