Hi there, i'm not to keen on the red and brown on this website i think the 2 colours dont really work well together maybe a darker red or somthing would look good, but red and brown not a big fan. Layout wise its neat isnt to overloaded with information which is always a plus.

Colour wise this time i think black and blue are suitable together, the buttons on the top left i dont find very neat and abit hard to read same for main text Magalopolitan Residences. Layout wise again, neat isnt to overloaded with information.

 

These reviews are just my own personal opinions if its sounds like im complete digging holes in your work.

As a designer I enjoy a really big hi-def monitor - most folks don't have these. Yet even on my screen quite a few of your graphics lack definition - not necessarily due to compression but design. The line striping on the banner under the logo makes the a small lettering around the logo almost illegible. On the other site the white 'foggy' glow around the letters is not good. Equally the menu font would maybe be much easier if it were not 'fancy' - maybe Tahoma or Arial?

 

Both sites have potential but the points I make here quickly distracted me from the content.

Thanks for the input. I'll experiment on different combinations of darker brown and darker red.

 

As for the condo_metro, I tried to make it bold fonts but that's even harder to read. Maybe I should change the font then.

Hi! Thanks! Actually, I presented two similar designs to the client. One is the globalprimeproperties.net that you can see now. The other design is almost the same except that there is no stripping line (that area is just plane white background). Obviously, she had chosen what you can see now. I'll inform her about your inputs.

 

For condo_metro (which is I own), you have good point about the foggy glow, although I am not sure if using fonts like arial or tahoma would give the same look and feel.

I think it's the brown that's letting you down in the first one. You could probably keep the red.

Not keen on the yellow rollovers in the footer - perhaps red might be better?

Why not give slightly bigger distance between the stripes in the header. I'm using an old CRT here and they're actually moving a little bit, like when someone wears a certain type of shirt on television.

 

In the second site - in the header, try and sharpen up "Megalopolitan Residences" - possibly get rid of any glow that's there. Maybe make the nav tabs just a tad taller with a little bit of text size increase.

Also I think the gradient on the text of the contact details up the top right make them a tad hard to read.

 

I thought both sites were ok though. Coding errors but you could tidy them up later.

Ha ha ha! I didn't notice the yellow rollover until you pointed it out. I was using an old css file and did few modifications but I forgot to modify the rollover link. Thanks for pointing that out as well as for your other suggestions. I'll also edit the title and contact info of the other site if the glow makes them more difficult to read.
