Pop Up Menus

Featured Replies

Hi I'm looking for a bit of help.

I used to use the Show Pop Up Menu behaviour in DW8 but now I have CS4 the option is not availible.

I googled it and this told me to use the Spry Menu but the program is telling me I cannot use this within lists.

Basiclly I have a horizontal Nav Bar with 7 links and I just need a little drop down menu on a few of the links showing a further few options.

Is there a function in CS4 to do this or could somebody show me a tutorial with the HTML and CSS needed for this??

Thanks in advance.

Pure CSS drop down menus can be found here:-

http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/

like this basic drop down http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/basic_dd.html

Find one closest to what you want.

Look at the source code, download the styles from the head section and the markup for the menu, put them in your own page and edit as you want.

I second Wickham's suggestion. Stu creates some of the best CSS-based menus.
