Hi everyone, I'm trying to make my site a bit more user friendly and I'd like to add a search function so that people can find what they want want quickly from my archives. My archive is built using tables in iframes. See here.

 

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Userfriendly to whom? You mean making it user friendly to a wider audience, like screen readers and handheld devices? In which case iframes, tablelayout and flash isn't a good solution.

 

Or do you mean to regular computer browsers and "user friendlyness" in terms of layout and element positions?

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I'm hoping to be able to add a search function to my archive so that people can can search for entries quickly and easily.

 

ie. Want to find Foo Fighters photos Search= Foo = Link to slideshow

To do this you'd need some sort of gallery system that supports search on photo title, description and keywords - I'm guessing you don't have this at the moment?
