Featured Replies

can anyone help?

I have created this page and I was wondering if anyone can remove the space between the images etc?

Have you added

* {padding:0;  margin:0;}

to the css?

it will set all margins etc to 0, so you will have to specify them for paragraphs etc

Also you might want to get out of the habit of using tables, use divs and CSS instead, it will give you more control over positioning and let you see what's what in the code more easily

excuse my lack of code knowledge

could I put

<style type="text/css">

<!--

p {padding:0; margin:0;}

}

-->

</style>

hmm just had a play with firebug and margins and padding don't seem to help, i'll have another play..

I've tried Firebug too with no results, but I have a feeling it's because of your rather confusing table structure. I'd echo what Stevo said, drop the tables and use <div> instead for your website structure. They're a lot more stable and give you more control.

Could it be something to do with the server it is being held on?

I have moved it to another server and it seems ok

Hmm... I don't think there is any way the type of server would affect something like that. Still, I have no idea why, so can't rule it out...

Apache is probably the best server OS out there for run of the mill websites, so I doubt that was a problem.
