September 25, 200917 yr Hi guys Started this project at Uni and we're basically required to design one web page with 3 different external css files so that when I apply each css file to the html page it will change the look completely. Im familiar with css, but I dont think I really use it to its potential sometimes and maybe I dont know the best ways to use it. I've very rarely used external css files, but done alot of internal ones. Just wondered how I go about this? Whats the best method? Will I be able to have parts of my website in different positions on the page with each css file, how is this done because im not that advanced to be honest. Thanks guys. (Any useful links would be great)

You could achieve this with a couple of programming languages depending which you're familiar with - off the top of my head I'd use JQuery. There are plenty of tutorials out there to help you out, but if you get stuck feel free to drop me a message. Oh and also, is it possible to change the image on a html document with css. Thinking about it, I dont think it is possible but im asking because im not 1005.. This is possible with CSS alone. Instead of putting the <img/> tag inline, you could set the background image of an element, then change this image in the stylesheet. Vote this post up if it helped you out BenTheDesigner
September 27, 200917 yr Author Thanks for that, very helpful. So this Stylesheet switcher actually creates buttons for the visitor to use, so they can switch between the stylesheets? I dont understand how the visitor will be able to switch between the stylesheets.
September 28, 200917 yr I've used this before and it's dead easy to set up: Style switcher. You'll need 3 stylesheets each with theeir respective styles.

Have a Google, see what you can find, and feel free to ask BenTheDesigner
