Easy to maintain CMS by end user

Featured Replies

I've had a couple of requests to assist in setting up a website.

I've normally used to make my own custom implementation - but I no longer have time for such. So I figure I'll go with existing CMS.

I'd like to head which CMS that you've heard from end users are easy to update and maintain the content. I know I can try out demos of various solutions - but that would then be based on my own experience. I'm interested in what people that aren't webdesigners feel about the various solutions.

The content structure of the site is one thing - I can do that. But it's the part where the user adds content to that structure that I'm curious of.

One site is a pure gallery page.

The other is for an archery club - news content, gallery, calendar.

Have you tried Perch? It costs £35 but there have been some good reviews, check the introduction screencast to see how it works :) grabaperch.com

Joomla has a component for the admin area for clients, makes it simpler.
