September 6, 200917 yr I am a web project manager. I get design created by my designers and I pass these PSD files to my Coder for development. This time when my Coder converted the design into HTML, all the colors were faded and didnt look like the PSD. I did some research and it looks like some embedded profile problem. I got a screen shot from my designer for color management settings. My coder is also using the same settings. Designer work on a MAC and Coder works on a Windows machine. I use myself a MAC to preview. This is not my first web project. Never had this problem before. (only once with the red color) Attached is the screen shot to compare...top one is the jpeg of the PSD and bottom one is HTML version. When my coder exported those slices and images it all got faded I tried to import PSDs into GIMP and GIMP warned about some embedded profile and changed the colors (faded) best regards Aleem
September 6, 200917 yr web images need no colour profile at all - you need to go back and work with the orignal and turn off the colour management for that image on the mac and on the pc. then the only difference you might get is gamma
September 6, 200917 yr Left side your screenshot rightside mine. Actually it looks clear and bright, is it your color profiles on MAC or what?
