it's a good summary. i certainly appreciate the jon tan method link - i'd never seen that before. going to have to give it a go!... especially seeing as my pages are almost always full up with conditional comments already!

There was an article in Ars Technica about the font issue. I have been following the TypeKit issue (no relation to HammerKit ;) ) and I think that this is a really exciting development for the web in general. Check out the story and have a look at TypeKit - they are trying to tackle the thorny issue of licensing...
