Website's fine, great footer. Readability's a bit poor with the black text on a blue background.

I used IETester and browsrcamp to help me out in the end with the different browsers...IE6 can go jump off a flyover into the path of a swarm of geek mobiles.

I really like it! The footer is a great idea

 

I think the blue and the orange clash a little, and as Russ says the black is a bit stark. I know orange and blue do and can go together so its just a case of playing with hues etc.

 

Maybe going for a darker, off blue and having white text, or a paler blue, or just changing the orange. Have a play around with it. This is a great little tool for playing with colour schemes: http://colorschemedesigner.com/

I think its not bad the navigation could look a bit nicer you could also but a semi transparent background behind the text so it stands out from the page. You mentioned SEO i have a tool which can assist if your interested which is very good, PM me for a quote.
