July 27, 200917 yr Hello everyone, My name is Luke Price and I am a freelance web developer/designer. I live and work in Preston, UK. My main areas of interest are semantic web, accessibility, functionality and fresh, memorable design. My main skills include: XHTML/HTML (can't wait for those delicious looking HTML 5 tags to become useable) CSS Javascript/jQuery PHP MySQL XML Photoshop Illustrator Drupal sites Wordpress sites Custom CMS ...and a plethora of others. I do do: Web design Web development eCommerce sites SEO Redesigns Modernizing (converting table-based designs to current industry standards etc.) Web apps I don't do (but I have associates who can do): Print-based graphic design My past: I have a ND in graphic design and a BA (Hons) degree in Information Illustration. I have worked as a graphic designer and a web designer for over 5 years. My present: I am in the throes of establishing myself as a freelance web developer/designer and am rapidly running out of brain capacity with all the things I am learning on a daily basis. My future: In the short-term my website should be up and running before October of this year. In the long-term I hope to setup a small web design studio and employ a few people within the next 10 years (you've got to dream!).
