This is a new site for a family run printing company, my director didn't want anything too dull or boring and something that included the logo colours.

 

So after posting my other site here for feedback and finding the whole process very useful, I thought I would add the new site I am working on. I still haven't finished all the pages or added the final copy, but the main idea of the design and look is finished.

 

My partner thinks it is too bright, however the director of my company loves it. Any feedback would be very welcome even if it is not just on the yellow

I'm afraid I do think the yellow is a bit overwhelming! Is okay on the header and footer, but I think it is a bit glaring when trying to read the main text (or maybe that's just me getting older...)

 

I'd lose the animated favicon as I think it cheapens the look of your site which is actually a good site overall. Perhaps the services headings would look better if were not all in uppercase - would need to see that really to decide.

 

Is a clear layout and your navigation is easy to follow.

I was thinking no, but then the header fully loaded and my retinas were burnt out.

 

IMO - if you have a bright logo, you want it on a dull background to make it stand out. It looks a little lost in the see of yellow.

 

I think the site is a little too basic too almost like a template - especially after the excellent work with the hymn sheet site.

Ya the site is too bright and will be fine if you use some light colors.

I think it looks ok when there's black text, but the red makes my eyes burn a little!

Yes too much yellow and although the header and main body are very close shades of yellow I can see the difference in colour and it doesn't look right!?
