July 22, 200917 yr I've well and truly buggered up my paper tax return! Theres now so many scribbles and crosses on it that i've had to register for online filing, because I can't send that coffee stained booklet in. It's especially awkward for us because our ARD is the 30th April and we were incorporated on the 29th, and that just messes you up more because the start/end base periods are litterally next to each other.
July 22, 200917 yr Bloody tax people (see.... I'm being politically correct) I have just had to part with a large sum of money for the second part of last tax year (thankfully only half the amount that I had to pay at christmas) I haven't even looked at my current tax return yet..... It can wait 'till after my hols now. I will probably scribble it all over my paper copy and then file it online... (before waiting in anticipation for the the letter telling me how many millions of pounds I have to pay this year!)

July 25, 200917 yr Think I need to hire me a Manny to do my tax for me... it's why I do mine online, there's enough paper flying around the office during tax return without trying to hunt down the form underneath the carnage.
July 25, 200917 yr Author Yeah onlines much easier. But the one thing I don't like about it is, they way it calculates it. I'd much prefer a real person did it rather than a computer because tax is a funny thing and I don't like the idea of a server thinking "oh that's right" when it might not be the case, for example, today, there is no reason on earth why it should owe me money and i'm certain everything I entered was right, but yet they claim they owe me 25p! Which I can't figure out.
