July 16, 200917 yr Hi Everyone, Getting abit annoyed with this, so wanted somewhere i can vent. Been organising abit of a laugh/BBQ(assuming good weather)/pissup. Decided it was cheaper to do it round mine, than go to town, so we all agreed £5 a head. Date was set 2 months ago (for this saturday) and ive gone and got a 2nd bbq, all the food and booze, and suddenly, everyone who hasnt paid me the £5 already has said "sorry, busy" "sorry, its my sisters birthday - i forgot" "sorry, it might rain" - WTF? Is it just me this happens to? Anyone near bournemouth, feel free to drop me a line and come round for a laugh, got way too much food (enough for an army) and booze. Going to be a "drink til you drop" for a fiver. Reaper
July 16, 200917 yr No, don't worry, it isn' just you it happens to. If I was a little nearer I'd say I'd come round. If you don't have as many folk as you'd like, see what food you can freeze and you can bring it out gradually over the next few weeks. It'll save you a bit against your next few grocery bills as well.
July 16, 200917 yr Its not just you it happens to.. Was trying to arrange to see a football match with some friends and needed to book in advance as tickets were going to sell out fast. We discussed it over a few drinks and I said I'd put a facebook event out to people so we can confim numbers. Everyone replys with "Maybe Attending". Thats really useful when trying to book tickets! I'm also trying to arrange a camping trip with the same lot of people, where I need to pay a deposit first, and everyones replied as maybe attending again... soo annoying! Anyway I may have popped down if I was still in Bournemouth, but am back home now and its a bit of a trek to get there, sorry!
