I tried to use an existing template the client had chosen which is why those main nav buttons are gradient.

iambrian, the link that you provided gave me only a blank page! Nothing there.

I like the minimal styling, but it may have been taken a little far in this example. Perhaps a little too 'white' also. I'd look at adding a header and a footer and possibly some content. Just to make it a little more appealing to viewers. Also, it's not entirely clear what the website is about.

overall i like it. but it could do with a lot of refining in some areas... for example add some whitespace into the bottom two areas on http://jt.scottreeddesign.com/deferral-solutions

 

play around with your fonts a little bit... perhaps some bigger gaps between lines in some places would increase readability.

 

one more thing, i'm not a big fan of the grey tabs in there unclicked state - something about them seems unfinished or perhaps the accompanying text needs to be dulled back as well in those tabs and then brightened on hover perhaps.

 

but overall very nice - just minor niggles for me.

I disagree. It is completely clear.

nice simple theme elegant in some ways but whats bugging me is the header image its blurred everywhere apart from the top, i guessed this was some sort of top bar but i saw your search box outsize this line so then i thought is it unfinished?
