June 22, 200917 yr Quick question guys about choosing unlimited disk space company. Which one of them is considering the best? Bluehost, Host1Plus, Hostgator, Dreamhost, Justhost?
June 22, 200917 yr Out of those, it's HostGator. Although do you really need an unlimited host (since 'unlimited' space and bandwidth doesn't exist)? How much disk space and bandwidth do you require?
June 22, 200917 yr If I'm not mistaken, Hostgator actually have limits in place meaning you cant upload more than 50,000 files. It sounds like a lot, but if you consider the average script like a shopping cart or forum can have anywhere upto 5000 files with all the includes, template files, images and whatnot, plus any content you then put in yourself. I have to say, this is an extremely unusual question to ask... Which of those who sell what they cant realistically provide is the best??? You would be wise to avoid any firm who channels resources into monitoring those who actually want what they paid for and advertise unlimited resources only to put fixed limits in their VERY small print, although this does seem to be very common amoung US based host's. Is it specifically US based hosting your in need of?
June 23, 200917 yr For english, i found heart to be fairly good, and they are fairly open about the "unlimited package" as it is in reality just a percentage of server power, and unmetered bandwidth not "unlimited" The discspace is also 35gb, but they are the only restrictions ive seen. If you really need that much space, you may be better off looking at a VPS. Reaper

Perfect for me would be multi-location hosting, like offering Host1Plus, anyone know more who offering similar things? As I talk with host1plus support, there is no overselling, how i can check it?

As I talk with host1plus support, there is no overselling, how i can check it? Simple, their website states "unlimited disk space and bandwidth", there is no such thing. There terms of service has NO reference at all to any fixed limits other than this extremely odd statement: In case the Client exceeds limits of volume of Content flow for his chosen Service volume, Content that is being sent, received or saved by the Client or other people who are using Services ordered by the Client, can be rejected, deleted, removed and the provision of any Services can be otherwise limited. Additional price is indicated in the Service order form. The Client has to pay this price to host1plus.com for every additional unit of Content flow volume, if the Client uses Services even after exceeding Content flow volume. host1plus.com has the right to estimate Content flow volume without any discussions with Client. Such estimated results will be obligatory to the Client. So, along with the unfriendly jargon, how the hell can you know what the limits you will be charged for if they dont tell you. The whole thing is worth avoiding completely, otherwise I can see it all ending in stress, grey hair and high bloody pressure.. Unlimited DOES NOT exist...

If you actually want to host more than 1 account, surely you would be better with a reseller? why else would you want multi-location? What is it actually for?
July 8, 200917 yr Just a heads up, I did a little research into hosting and if you like me are in the UK it is very bad to have your UK site on a US server, All to do with search engines so if in the UK stick to UK server.
