How do i make a form whith fields that change

Featured Replies

Could anyone tell me how to do the following: I want to make an html form (simple enough) but i want it so that it has a few drop down lists in it. When a user makes a choice in the first drop down list, i want the following drop down list to only display choices related to the choice the user made in the previous drop down list.

Hope that makes sense.

You want to look into jQuery and AJAX.

I don't think what i need to do needs AJAX. Although i'm sure AJAX would do something similar, i'm certain there's a more simple way of achieving what im after.

its done via ajax / javascript and maybe sql .... as the page needs to be refreshed again to show the next dropdown with the data, ajax will do this in the background
