I'm SURE that my CSS edits it's self whilst i'm gone. I've gone today to tackle an error in a PHP script only to find that the style sheet on the site has suddenly stopped showing a hover box and that it's now just a plain-text link! No idea how or why it's changed or what's caused it! I'm at a loss to explain it as it's a universal-site problem but there's no other problems and the code appears to be intact!

I hate those gremlins, happens to me a lot too. I just blame my boss though :p

You won't believe what i've had to do. I've had to change the DIV class names in the style sheet and on every single page on which they're featured  ! As far as I can understand, they've suddenly decided that they wont work on the old ones, and hey presto - they're all working again! Gmrmgfugdenmbubb *Mumbles*

Could it not be the caches. I have a problem all the time where I update a specific class in the stylesheet but it doesnt show on the page no matter how many times I refresh. And i cant even blame this one just on IE, as Firefox does it too.

No matter how many times the page is refreshed it still refers back to an old, outdated stylesheet. Could this be your problem?

No - unlikely. This style sheet has been integrated intact and unedited for about 3 months now!

one of my projects, for some reason both IE and FF have both stopped accepting the top logo, but nothing has changed. Its also not just on this comp.

LOL..

May be that's happening because you don't update them often enough. CSS likes when we pay attention to it from time to time. It needs a kuddle thats all )))

"we gave it abit of an update to stop it feeling left out, and now out site doesnt work"

*opens CSS file to find it empty except the line "updated 16/6/2009"*
