Some advice needed if possible. Due to our recent influx of work, I'm looking at outsourcing some SEO work. I have three sites needing work, ecommerce sites to be exact. They require an seo overhaul including all the basics, h1/h2 tags, alt descriptions for SE/Screen readers, meta tags inc geo/keyword/description, address tags, xml/html validation, landing pages, titles, keywords, content, internal linking, footer links, bold text elements etc etc.

 

I know what we would charge as a company, however having never outsourced work, I do not know what a freelancer would charge for this work or how long they would require to perform the work. I usually state anywhere between 6 - 18 month to see a positive return on seo, would a free lancer be on the same timescale?

 

What I am looking for is:

 

1. Average freelance work costs

2. timescale
