What do I need for a word search?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I create medical courses in HTML. My boss wants me to put a word seach in. I guess there is no easy way of doing this, and I am certainly no programmer. Could some one please let me know what I need to do this and where to being?

Alternativley if you think this may be to difficult, would it be possible to get a programmer to make it for one course and then use his/her code on another course?

Thank you!

Yes it might be a little hard to do this.. I would suggest that you use a wordpress or something to that style of free template sites this way it has a built in search and you can make multi pages one for each of your courses it comes with search and also it has a easy to use backend cms that there are many pluggins for...

It has a plugin for fqa you can add one at the bottom of each course this also might impress your boss.

Thanks for your help.

These sites are exactly what I was after, however I do not want the spiders to search my whole site, but instead specific folders. I can't seem to get this to work, any ideas?

Neil
