Kay, so I;m building a site using GLfusion, a CMS not many of you may be familiar with. Basically I'n the template you code it with the left and right menus (blocks), but in some pages, these do not show, to allow the content to be widened and read. However, the current template doesnt change the div's to show like this which is the problem. The content column doesnt widen because its a fixed width.

How can I create a 3 column layout, so that when of the side columns isnt shown, the center widens across, and when both dont show, it widens the whole way, because im a bit stuck.

two options that spring to mind...

1. Add a new template to use for when no sidebar is present

2. Use a conditional statement to use an different class/id for the content container - use the conditional to check for the existance of the sidebar

Hmm the thmtl eradicate php so no conditional statement.

I'm not sure the new template is the way to go either. I think im going to dig deeper into this default template, unless anyone has any bright html ideas.
